The Venetian® Macao Tennis Showdown 2009 will once again make tennis history when it reunites two of the greatest players to ever play the game, Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi at the CotaiArena™ on October 25th, 2009. The historic encounter will be the first match up between the two legendary rivals since Sampras defeated Agassi to capture the 2002 US Open. Fans will also be treated to two of tomorrow's brightest talents, Junior World No.1 Yuki Bhambri and American Ryan Harrison in an afternoon of spectacular entertainment.

The annual "Macau International Fireworks Display Contest" not only ights up the nights of Macau, but also the hearts of spectators. ocal residents long for the marvelous fireworks displays that add a oyous atmosphere to holidays and festivals. The Contest has also ecome an annual characteristic of Macau. Many visitors specially hoose this time of the year to come to Macau to enjoy an exotic and omantic holiday.

Macau attaches great importance to cultural heritage. In fact, the irecracker industry used to be one of the three handicrafts in Macau, nd fireworks, being a significant element in Macau's cultural eritage, also has a long history in Portugal. To celebrate this colorful' history and cultural inheritance, Macau started to stage he annual "Macau International Fireworks Display Contest" from the 980's to demonstrate the unique vibes of Macau when the magnificent fireworks light up Macau's stunning scenery.

The Macau International Fireworks Display Contest has grown over the years into an internationally acclaimed event, one of the best of its kind.
